.... Leaving Sam's funeral -
was one of the most real and difficult things I've faced so far as an adult- realizing that. at this time in my life - how time seems to be flying by- the moments we share are precious.
The reception afterwards was full of warmth... Every one that knew Sam is special, talented - he had a beautiful circle of friends. I am lucky to know them too now.
In pure comic style. And as Sam would want - he'd think it was funny to have a cardboard cut out of him self at His Ex Wife's house.

I couldn't help myself -
The intimate service was full of laughter ... and tears.
I was honored to speak - I told the story of how he told PETA that when you donate 10$ sometimes you get a hat. Or for $100 you get a t-shirt. He was sure PETA told him that for all the money he has donated. He was sure he was told - he got Pamela! In hysterics.
Dan Mathews grabbed my arm at a fundraising party and gave me to him.
I am eternally grateful.
I love you Sammy.
Everything you have done and are still doing for Animals- you do for me- Your photo is next to my bed..You remind me to keep up the fight.
I miss you like crazy. I still hear your tender words.
That .. you are proud of me.
And - that being with you 'is like a "warm bubble bath"

There are never reasons to hurt anybody.
