New York City Council
Dear Speaker Quinn,
On Tuesday, Oct. 23, I’ll be hosting NYCLASS’s gala to promote their pilot program for classic cars to replace New York's horse-drawn carriages, a bill which has the support of 23 council members. I know you’re a busy woman, but I’d like to invite you to be my date for the evening in hopes you’ll consider being the 24th council supporter.
The event starts at 7:30 p.m. at the Edison Ballroom, and many notable New Yorkers like Liv Tyler, Russell Simmons, Kathy Najimy, and Kristen Johnston will be there to enjoy cocktails, a gourmet vegetarian dinner, and a live performance by Joan Jett. I would be honored to have you join me and would welcome the opportunity to discuss with you in person this issue which is of such great concern to New Yorkers and people like me who visit the city a lot.
Please let me know if you can join me on Tuesday. And please feel free to bring your wife—three’s company!
